Ruby sofie hotel: Lean Luxury

Durante i giorni passati ho avuto il piacere di soggiornare presso il Ruby Sofie Hotel di Vienna. L’hotel si trova poco fuori dal centro, a soli 10 minuti dalla stazione metropolitana e ferroviaria che porta direttamente in aeroporto. Se stai pensando di andare a Vienna, alloggiare in questo hotel sarà la miglior decisione che potrai prendere!

During the past days I had the pleasure to stay in the Ruby Sofie Hotel in Vienna. The hotel is located just outside the city centre and it takes 10 minutes to walk to the closest subway station and Wien Mittle train station. From there you can directly reach Vienna’s airport.
If you are planning to visit Vienna, staying in this hotel is the best decision you can make.

Questa catena di hotel ha una filosofia: il lusso; loro credono che non servono grandi quantità di denaro per goderti le cose belle della vita! Mai stata più d’accordo.
Entrando nell’hotel, posso dire che questa filosofia si rispecchia ovunque, anche in ogni piccolo spazio.

The Ruby Hotels franchise has a philosophy: make luxury affordable for everyone;
they believe that people don’t need to spend much money to enjoy the good things of life! I couldn’t agree more.
Entering the hotel, everyone can immediately see luxury all around, in every little detail.
The predominant colour in the hotel is black, however they manage to make it a warm and welcoming colour.

Al check-in, sono rimasta subito colpita dall’efficenza dell’hotel. Tutto quello che ho dovuto fare è stato mettere i miei dati personali su un iPad e la chiave della mia camera è stata stampata per me al momento! Si, avete letto bene, la chiave dell’hotel è letteralmente stampata proprio di fronte a voi!
Questa, è una cosa molto efficace perché ti fa risparmiare tempo prezioso sia al check-in, sia al check-out, poiché non c’è bisogno di riconsegnarla.

I was impressed by the check-in procedure: all I had to do was filling out a form on an iPad with my personal data and then they instantly printed my room key.
Yes, you heard me, they literally printed the key card, right in front of me!
This is a sign of great efficiency, because it saves time during the check-in
and the check-out too: of course, there is no need to give the key card back.

The room

Ho alloggiato in una “wow room” angolare, con ben 4 finestre con vista su Vienna, arredata con mobili e accessori vintage.
La camera dispone di  tutti i confort che ci si possono aspettare: una smartTv, un iPad, uno smartphone e il Wifi-gratuito.
Il bagno ha una doccia a pioggia molto spaziosa, in cui si può scegliere tra diversi tipi di bagnoschiuma e creme per il corpo, tutto marchiato Ruby hotel.
Se hai bisogno di svagarti, puoi prendere in prestito una chitarra e portarla in camera, attaccarla alla cassa della Marshall e suonare a volume alto! Tutte le camere sono insonorizzate.

Un’altra cosa interessante del Ruby Sofie hotel è la stazione degli snack. Fuori nel corridoio c’è un piccolo ristoro dove poter prendere un tè e un distributore automatico per gli snack.

I stayed in an angular “wow room”, with 4 windows, which provide a beautiful view of Vienna, and vintage furniture and ornament.
The room is fitted with all kind of comforts and technologies: a smartTv, an iPad, a smartphone and free Wi-Fi; the bathroom includes a spacious rain shower,
where you can choose among shower gels and body lotions of different flavours,
everything Ruby Hotel branded. If you want to have fun, you can even borrow a guitar and play it at high volume in your room!
Every room is in fact perfectly soundproof and equipped with Marshall speakers.

Another unique thing of Ruby Sofie Hotel is the snack area:
in the hallway there is a small area with a basic kitchen and vending machines where you can have a cup of tea or a snack.

The Hall

La hall è una delle cose che più mi ha colpito, in perfetto stile vintage e curato in tutti i dettagli. Dietro al bancone una scaffalatura conteneva diversi oggetti datati e strumenti musicali, il tutto illuminato da lampade di vario tipo. Questo spazio era davvero caldo e accogliente, arredato da poltrone, sedie e tavoli che rispecchiamo perfettamente tutta la filosofia dell’hotel. 
Su un soppalco, sopra la hall, si trovava un salottino adibito alla lettura e al tempo libero, con diversi libri a disposizione di tutti gli ospiti; c’è molto spazio per rilassarsi senza sentirsi sovraffollati.

The hall is the space I liked the most.
The interior design in vintage style is very detailed.
Behind the desk, a shelving unit supports numerous vintage decorative objects and old musical instruments, illuminated by modern lamps.
This hall, warm and welcoming, is furnished with vintage armchairs and tables.
Above the hall, on a loft, there is a cozy lounge where guests can relax, maybe reading the books available in the hotel library.

The Breakfast

La colazione era compresa nel mio soggiorno e comprendeva un buffet di piatti salati e dolci,
in modo che i clienti potessero scegliere in base alle loro abitudini alimentari e ai propri gusti. L’angolo della colazione è moderno e accogliente e l’atmosfera che si respira è davvero tranquilla.

Breakfast buffet offers both sweet and savoury dishes to accommodate
different tastes and dietary habits.
Breakfast corner is modern, but comfortable and quiet at the same time.

Noterete un sacco di verde e questo non è un caso: questa catena di hotel è certificato LEED. Tutto è ecosostenibile, utilizza materiali riciclati, cibi biologici ed è efficiente dal punto di vista idrico.

Con spazi chic e rilassanti, il Ruby Sofie è il luogo perfetto per passare del tempo libero, lavorare e svagarsi.
Se stai programmando un viaggio a Vienna, ti consiglio vivamente di alloggiare qui. Non solo sono i migliori hotel di Vienna, ma anche gli hotel più belli che abbia mai visto!
